Bullshit vaccine “study”
The Guardian: SHINGLES VACCINE MAY SLASH DEMENTIA RISK BY 20%
Over 284,000 people in Wales were studied. Those who got the Zostavax vaccine were 1 in 5 less likely to get dementia over the next 7 years.
Researchers used a clever “natural experiment”: a UK policy only gave the vaccine to people born on or after Sept 2, 1933. That split allowed scientists to compare nearly identical age groups.
They adjusted for differences (like who actually got the shot), and the results held strong — especially for women, who showed the biggest drop in risk.
Why? Scientists think the vaccine may stop the chickenpox virus (which hides in your nerves for life) from waking up and causing inflammation in your brain.
Earlier U.S. and U.K. studies hinted at the same thing, and a newer vaccine, Shingrix, may be even better.
Now researchers want a clinical trial to prove it.
Notice: The researchers could have looked at which group had highest all-causes mortality. They didn't!

If there is a vaccine study, you have to figure out why it is misleading. If you can't, you can still be sure it is misleading in a way you can not figure out.
It’s very likely that they have done P-value hacking (Data dredging). They compared these similar groups and looked at 1000 different conditions like heart problems, Parkinson’s, cancer, etc and found that one of these conditions was significant lower in the vaccinated. So they tossed away all data of the other conditions that were worse in the vaccinated group, and pretend that this means the vaccine was good.
And then they get funding for another study.

People may miss the fact that Trump's tariffs are not only aimed at other countries but also at Trump's enemies in the US. The giant corporations, almost all of which support the Democrats, benefit much more from a free trade regime than small businesses.
But there is also some madness involved - This will help Trump getting some countries to bow down fast, which then will make other countries give up too:

Flexport's team was able to reverse engineer the formula the Administration used to generate the "reciprocal tariffs." It's quite simple, they took the trade deficit the US has with each country and divided it by our imports from that country. The chart below shows the predictions of this formula plotted against the actual new tariff rates.
So even if Israel has to tariffs on USA anymore, a 17% tariff was put on it. Israel is in shock, Bill Ackman is pissed:

So if you want to see how to really not do trade negotiations, you can look at Canada: (Canada is only 2.5% of USA’s export, while Canada is really dependent on USA), and USA put 25% tariffs already in February. Doing as Trump wants is is unthinkable in their Democrat minds.
