För er svenskar: En av frågorna har två rätta svar… Blåsippor är för övrigt inte fridlysta i Östergötland, men i många andra regioner, men är inte landskapsblomman.
In today’s videos there were some questions, that I’ll translate here.
What is the landscape flower of the Swedish historical region of Östergötland?
1. Wood anemone (Vitsippa = white anemone, so obviously not the depicted one)
x. Cornflower (Blåklint = blue clint… so… )
2. Mute swan (Knölsvan, Östergötland’s landscape animal)
Which of these words is a verb?
1. Ice cream (glass, “glass” in swedish is “glas”)
x. Jump/Skip (Hoppa, “to hope” in Swedish is “att hoppas”)
2. Shoe (Sko)
Not the hardest quiz… Must be done for children who can hardly read or foreigners.
For the Swedes: There is another right answer in one of the questions, and it’s true in the English translation too… The maker of the quiz wasn’t that great at Swedish.
