Sorry this question is about learning other Germanic languages with those free apps. I gave up on German because I could see they changed the bs to ps in some cases and the other differences soon revealed themselves. It was too easy so I lost interest. Dutch is so close to Afrikaans I don't even bother. I haven't considered learning Swedish before but Dr Dan Roodt, sa author recommends it to broaden your horizons. I think I want to do that ie learn the language to b1 proficiency before visiting your beautiful country and preferably in a season I'll survive. Thanks for showing us around in your country in your videos. There is a sense of familiarity that I need to explore.

You can always try to learn old Frisian from Oera Linda... But Swedish is really easy to learn to read, especially if you know some German already.

Meningsvryheid is how we spell it in Afrikaans. I think there could be a number of cognate phrases in our languages. I find this very interesting. Thanks for your videos. It's very informative.

I agree with Agenbach on this. I've never wanted to move to Orania tbh. The west rand of Johannesburg is one of the largest concentrations of Boers. I speak my language everywhere at all the shops etc.

Thanks for your opinion. It's of course impossible for me to have an opinion on what people elsewhere should do, but I try to find patterns and moving into safe-ghettos... It doesn't even work well for Israel. It did work for San Marino, but that didn't save the rest of Italy from the last 1700 years.

I think this is better because it's a very large area and decentralized. The Indians and smaller groups have been moving into the area for a long time. Even the zulus who support the king and not the political parties fled here during the 2021 riots. They all fought off the rioters with us. I'm not saying they'll turn against us but in future but we are not such a small minority in this area. Also the cops ran out of bullets and civilians had to help out. With food and petrol too. If this happens again I'll get a good camera and be your correspondent in Johannesburg.

Have you seen the short video, probably a GIF, & it's anteaters walking around a mayan pyramid's grounds & it's backwards. Because it's a little grainy, seems as if that there are dinosaurs there. Also I put the world temp extreme's map superimposed on world iq map.
