“Zimmermann” is German for “carpenter”, so Zimmerman, although badly spelled, is a normal German name. Just like Miller (German for “miller”, mjölnare) or Schuhmacher (shoe-maker, skomakare).

Good point, but the thing is that many Jewish family names DO sound definitely Jewish but with a touch of another language, so they are only hiding from dumb people. Freeland could have been an OK leader, but she is surrounded by communist-liberals who only know how bullying work while also failing to understand that to bully someone, you have to be bigger and tougher - Canada’s regime is neither.
