I told my nutritionist that you'd mentioned this miracle but wanted more information, so they replied with this

"You took a methylated form of active Vitamin B12 called methycobalamin. There are lots of types of B12 some synthetic and some natural but I like to use this form because it doesn’t need activating by the body, or changing into anything to make it useable. The step that activates it is reliant on us having the right genetic info to tell us how to make an enzyme that is involved in activating it and so some people struggle converting. I predict you have genetic mistakes meaning you struggle to use your B12 and folate well and so need more of it to compensate. It’s called an MTFHR mutation, Dr Ben Lynch has loads of info about it.

Taking active folate and avoiding synthetic folic acid and taking mother methylated forms of b vits can be life changing. A lot of people have to go steady though, they feel weird and sometimes feel awful when they first start them.

These B vits allow your body to methylate. Along with other nutrients too. Methylation is needed for so many processes but brain chemical balance is one of them"

When I say "almost overnight" I meant in the context of lifelong anxiety suffering. It actually took me quite a few months to get over the parasite (and the damage it did to my body) the process started by taking lots of oregano supplements to weaken it before taking a powerful anti parasitic. But to be relatively free from anxiety (and it's symptoms including panic attacks and IBS like symptoms) is an amazing gift. I feel extremely lucky and it's coming up to almost a decade of recovery now. Anyway, hope you find that interesting.

Extremely interesting! Thanks from all my followers!

B12 is something one can't get from nutritional yeast, but eggs and liver are great sources. I care about my vegan followers, but they have to figure that out on their own.

I hope I can fact check this tomorrow, but B12 despite being solvable in water, is something the body can store a lot of for a long time.

Also thank you for explaining your bread/pasta avoidance. I definitely need to reduce my intake, as we eat it quite often! Will be interesting to see how my immune system responds to less depletion.
